Why: We chose Korea as our launch because the market for language in Korea is emblematic of most of Asia: there is the realization that foreign trade will be a foundation skill for an export driven economy, and therefore a huge investment is being put forward. However the scope is limited to English, the percentage of family income devoted to this in Korea alone is between 15 - 25%, and the training period is between 8 to 10 years, with only a 15% chance that the student will achieve an intermediate level of English. Software: We develop smartphone based scalable language learning apps that will start with English in South Korea. Our apps are designed to be globally expandable, and our current road map expands our language foundation to China, Japan, Russia, India, & Africa in the near term.
